STEP 1: NEIGHBORHOOD SPECIALIST
Partnering with a neighborhood specialist is a great benefit for any home buyer. Our neighborhood specialists use their knowledge of our communities and floor-plans to help you find the neighborhood and plan that best suites your wants and needs- all at an affordable price!
STEP 2: APPROVED LENDER
As a home buyer, you have complete freedom to choose any lender you’d like to work with throughout the buying process. However, for the sake of both convenience and cost, our own approved lenders offer some unique advantages. From closing cost credits to minimizing delays, working with a Keystone Homes approved lender presents a slew of benefits you may not find elsewhere!
STEP 3: PICK YOUR PLAN
With over 20 unique floor plans to choose from, you are sure to find one that fits your needs! Some things to consider when picking your plan are: the space you need, the interior design you like most and which home features are most important to you and your family. If you're having trouble deciding, feel free to reach out to our neighborhood specialists, they would be happy to help you decide!
STEP 4: SUBMIT AGREEMENT
Signed, sealed, and delivered — once we have ink on paper, it’s time to set an appointment with our Design Studio to give your home the personal touch it deserves!
STEP 5: DESIGN APPOINTMENT
Head over to our Design Studio and meet our Design Studio Coordinator! At Keystone, we offer a wide variety of unique interior styles. We encourage you to get creative and take full advantage of the option to personalize your home. Here you will have the opportunity to choose your cabinets, countertops, flooring and other features that will help give your home the perfect personal touch!
STEP 6: CONSTRUCTION BEGINS
Woohoo! Construction is underway. Just as promised, you’ll be moving into your new home in 90-120 days. That calls for a celebration, right?
STEP 7: FOUNDATION
This is where we — quite literally — lay the foundation of your brand-new Keystone home. Every home has its building blocks, so this step ensures that your home has a strong and sturdy base so it lasts for years to come.
STEP 8: FRAMING
This step is one of the most exciting steps in the process. Framing is underway and you’re starting to see what you’ve envisioned come to life!
STEP 9: FINISHING
Build, interior design, features and fixtures certainly determine the look, feel, and style of your home and it is now time to put on the finishing touches. During this step of the process, your cabinets, countertops, floors, fixtures and any other upgrades you’ve selected in our Design Studio are installed. Your home is painted and you are one step closer to construction completion!
STEP 10: CONSTRUCTION COMPLETE
The home is built, framed, finished and touched-up— all the boxes are checked! Your Keystone Builder will be in touch with you shortly to schedule your full-home Orientation.
STEP 11: ORIENTATION
Orientation is typically scheduled a week or two prior to closing and orientation day has arrived! Alongside your Keystone Builder, you’ll have the chance to explore your new home, learn more about your systems and get a feel for what life will be will be like in your brand new Keystone home. You’re now just a few days away from closing.
STEP 12: CLOSING
Time to seal the deal! Gather your friends and family — you just closed on your brand-new home in under 120 days.
From the first day of construction to move-in, our Keystone team will be in touch with you every step of the way.
